Task Matrix Help
About the TaskMatrix
The OpFocus, Inc. TaskMatrix allows you to prioritize your tasks, organizing them based on their urgency and importance.
Urgent tasks are tasks that demand immediate attention or must be completed soon. These tasks often have a deadline or due date. Each of your tasks can be categorized as having either High or Low Urgency.
Important tasks are tasks that you want to spend time on. These tasks are important to achieving your goals. Each of your tasks can be categorized as having either High or Low Importance.
Note that Urgency and Importance are actually unrelated. You may have a High Urgency / Low Importance task, one that you must complete soon but that isn’t important to you. Conversely, you may have a Low Urgency / High Importance tasks, one that is important to you, but that does not need to be completed soon.
The OpFocus, Inc. TaskMatrix allows you to categorize your Salesforce.com Tasks based on their Urgency and Importance, and to view them visually on a matrix.
Selecting the Tasks to View
You can choose to view just your own tasks, or also the tasks of the people who report to you (that is, people whose User record identifies you as their Manager). You can also choose to hide your own tasks, so you can focus on the tasks of the people who report to you.
You can choose which tasks to view based on their due dates. You can also choose to hide tasks that are overdue, so you can focus on tasks with current or future due dates.
You can choose to sort the tasks in each quadrant based on their due date or their name.
