David Carnes, Founder and President
David Carnes founded OpFocus, Inc. in 2006 with the goal of helping companies run their businesses better through improved systems, processes and reporting. Prior to OpFocus, David was Practice Manager at Theikos, Inc., a leading Salesforce.com consulting partner that was later acquired by Astadia, Inc. Before Theikos, David was Corporate Applications Manager at MarketSoft Corporation where he managed systems by day and immersed himself in sales and marketing operations by night.
David’s affinity for business automation and technology developed while serving as CRM Project Manager at Lucent Technologies global software division (formerly Kenan Systems) and while working in Channels Marketing roles at Sybase in the mid 1990s.
David started his career with a two year teaching stint on the JET Program in Himeji, Japan. He holds a master’s degree in software engineering from Brandeis University and a Bachelor’s degree with concentrations in International Business and Japanese from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has served as an Area Governor for Toastmasters International, President of the Lexington Toastmasters Club, and board member of NETSEA- the New England Technical Sales Execs Association.
David holds Salesforce.com Certified Consultant and Salesforce.com Certified Advanced System Administrator designations, and is an Authorized Salesforce.com Trainer, training corporate groups and system administrators across the country.
Peter Rozek, Vice President of Service Delivery
As the Vice President of Service Delivery, Peter Rozek is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of client projects by means of a comprehensive delivery methodology and a well trained staff. Peter also oversees ongoing professional development of the consulting team, to ensure that OpFocus consultants are trusted partners with broad technical and business expertise.
As Sr. Business Systems Analyst at NaviSite, Inc., Peter handled all aspects of marketing operations, seeing the company through several acquisitions that resulted in a number of CRM migrations to Salesforce.com. While at NaviSite, Peter oversaw the Crystal Reports business intelligence platform. Prior to working at NaviSite, Inc., Peter was the Associate Director of Electronic Commerce at Paymentech, Inc., where he was responsible for online customer portal, electronic reporting, and e-commerce partnerships.
Peter has earned Salesforce.com Certified Consultant and Salesforce.com Certified System Administrator designations.
