Salesforce.com Developer I
As an OpFocus consultant, this Developer will work with our consultants and clients to create solutions to real-world business problems using the Salesforce.com platform. This is an entry-level position. The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate with a Computer Science major, a track record of producing high quality results both in school and at work, and a drive to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of other OpFocus consultants to develop and test business solutions for our customers.
- Work with the company’s Product Development team to create and support OpFocus products that are offered on Salesforce.com’s AppExchange.
- Develop using technologies like Apex, Visualforce, D/HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Earn a Salesforce.com Developer certification.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Experience beyond the classroom (in summer jobs or internships) developing software
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of Java
- Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com configuration, Visualforce, and/or Apex a big plus
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases a plus
- In-depth experience with jQuery and/or ExtJS a plus
- Experience with Agile development practices a plus
