Implementation Manager

The Implementation Manager understands business operations and the underlying need for process, applications, data and reporting to serve sales, marketing and support organizations.  The role requires strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com and its use, and experience with implementing various aspects of the platform.  The Implementation Manager is typically involved in multiple engagements to:

  • Coordinate and complete projects
  • Define timelines, and track and communicate progress
  • Manage client relationships
  • Facilitate business process reviews to define requirements
  • Lead solution design effort
  • Oversee and participate in the build and test cycles
  • Manage data migration/handling and integrations
  • Prepare and deliver training

Responsibilities:

  • Work with OpFocus Sales team to define scope for projects
  • Ensure successful completion of all aspects of assigned project work, including managing internal, partner, and client side project resources
  • Operate with minimal direction from a director or engagement manager
  • Effectively facilitate meetings and interact with executive level project sponsors
  • Analyze information to write
    • Business Process Diagrams
    • Requirements Definition
    • Solution Design
    • Data Models
    • Project Plans
  • Travels with client or project team as needed

Required Skills/Education/Experience:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of business operations or consulting experience
  • Technical background / degree program preferred
  • Certified Salesforce.com Administrator preferred with willingness to obtain further certifications
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30% possible)
